Cristal Palace - Palácio de Cristal
The “Palácio de Cristal" located in Petrópolis, Rio de janeiro State, built in 1884 by Conde d’Eu by Saint-Souver Lês Arras Société Anonyme, in France. It’s inspired in the London Crystal Palace and Palácio de Cristal do Porto.
The initial intention was built it to serve as a birds and flowers exposition place. Now-a-days it’s used as expositions and events place, as the Bauernfest, the annual party in homage to the German colonists of Petrópolis.
